To borrow a book, please bring it to Mrs. Shub/the circulation desk. Mrs. Shub will check it out for you.
If Mrs. Shub is not there, please use the self-checkout kiosk at the circulation desk. Instructions are posted at the kiosk.
Books are usually due 30 days after checkout, but you can always request extra time - just ask in person or via email. (You do not need to bring the book to the Library in order to renew it.) We always want you to have as much time as you need!
Books that are irreparably damaged, or overdue and not returned by more than 30 days will be entered into Genesis as lost/damaged. You will be financially responsible for replacing the book. We ALWAYS prefer to have the book back or even a new copy you purchase, rather than the money. Please see Mrs. Shub if you have questions or need more information.
We have no limit on the number of books you can take out at a time, but we kindly ask that you do not check out all the books in one collection, or about a particular subject at once.
If you need something we do not have in our physical collection, please let Mrs. Shub know! We can either help you find it at the public library, or we may consider acquiring the item.
