Upon accepting your offer at Northeastern, you will be required to complete a CORI form. This form can either be signed by a notary or a designated Northeastern employee. If you’d like to have this signed by a Northeastern employee, please email your form to your HR representative.
As a temporary employee, your manager will need to provide you access to a sponsored account. When your manager provides this access, you will receive an email with instructions to enter some personal information such as date of birth, SSN, and home zip code. After this is successfully completed, you will be able to claim your Northeastern account.
Your myNortheastern account provides secure and convenient access to the university’s most frequently used sites and systems, including but not limited to your payment history and details, your NU email account and NU ID number as well as serving as a link to the Canvas learning management system.
You will receive access to your Northeastern account 90 days prior to your start date.
Two-factor authentication is intended to better protect you and your personal information. 2FA is required to access the university’s virtual private network (VPN), and is required to access an increasing number of the university’s most frequently used online services and systems.
Your Northeastern e-mail is the only acceptable means of electronic communication with students and to maintain contact with NEU faculty and staff.

Your username should be your email address (<username>@northeastern.edu) and the password you use for myNortheastern account.
Workday is the unified, unifying, all-in-one HR platform for Northeastern. It delivers one place to take care of Human Resources business simply and efficiently. Within Workday, you'll be able to check your paystubs, request an absence, edit personal contact information, and more!
Once you've claimed your NEU account, you'll be able to log into Workday and complete the necessary onboarding tasks such as
Complete section 1 of the I-9 process (U.S.-based employees)
Update your contact information
Update personal information including government ID
Enter direct deposit information
Review your self-identification statuses
Manage your payment and tax withholding elections
Update your emergency contact information

You are required to complete section 1 & section 2 of the I-9.
Section 1 will be completed on your first day via Workday.
Section 2 must be scheduled with the section 2 I-9 administrator. The verification must be completed in-person within 1-3 days of your start date.

Husky Card Services manages all services associated with the Husky Card at Northeastern University. The Husky Card is the official identification card at Northeastern University. Along with identification, the Husky Card is also used for building access, parking, printing, library access, employee discounts and more.
You can obtain your Husky ID at the Husky Card Office on 4 Speare Commons-Lower Level. they are open on Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-4:30PM. Please be prepared to provide them with your NU ID number, which can be found on your Workday account.
You can expect to receive the following emails for mandatory training within 10 days of your start date. The trainings need to be completed within 30 days from the day you receive the notification.
