Knowledge: Basic Facts
To instantly recall addition and subtraction facts to twenty. Eg: 7+5=12,
To instantly recall division and multiplication facts for the 2, 5, and 10 times tables.
Knowledge: Grouping and Place value
To know groupings of two that are in numbers to 20 and five that are in numbers to 50. Eg: 8 groups of 2 in 17.
I know groupings of ten that can be made from a three digit number. Eg: Tens in 763 is 76.
To know the number of hundreds in centuries and thousands. Eg: Hundreds in 800 is 8 and in 4000 is 40.
To know groupings within 100. Eg: 49+51=100. (Particularly multiples of 5, Eg: 25 +75=100).
To round three digit whole numbers to the nearest 10 or 100.
Eg: 561 rounded to the nearest 10 is 560 and to the nearest 100 is 600.

Knowledge: Number Identification, Sequence and Order
To order any numbers in the range 0-1000.
To count forwards and backwards in ones, tens and hundreds in the range 0-1000.
To say the number 1, 10 and 100 before and after a given number in the range 0-1000.
To skip count forwards and backwards in twos, threes, fives and tens in the range 0-100.
To read and write all numbers in the range 0-1000
To read and write symbols for the most common fractions.
Eg: halves, quarters, thirds, fifths and tenths.
To read and write symbols for improper fractions and compound fractions. Eg: 5/4, 2 1/2.
