from the Flora Public Library
Working together, North Clay Community Unit School District #25 and the Flora Public Library have created an opportunity for NCCUSD #25 students living outside the City of Flora corporate boundaries, who are not served by other local libraries, to apply for and receive a non-resident student library card from Flora Public Library at no cost. This opportunity is being made possible through an Intergovernmental Agreement between the school district and the library.
This agreement covers North Clay Community Unit School District #25 students only, and not other household members. Student cards are valid only at Flora Public Library.
¨ A parent or guardian must accompany the student to the Flora Public Library to complete a library card application.
¨ The parent or guardian will be asked to show one current piece of ID showing name and address. Examples of acceptable ID include, but are not limited to, a valid driver’s license, student ID, a recently delivered piece of mail (within the last 2 months) or a receipt listing name and address.
¨ Parent or Guardian’s signature is required to show acceptance of
responsibility.
The opportunity for a no-cost library card is available anytime during the school year. Your student’s card will be issued any time during the school year after July 1st and expires June 30th of the next year. The library card can be used by your student to check-out materials and borrow items on interlibrary loan. A limited amount of items may be checked out at one time. Please check with library for more information. Use of the library’s reference services, free Wi-Fi, children’s computers and Internet access is included.
