My name is Mrs. Julie Koelm. I am the current math teacher for 6, 7, 8th grade at North Clay Jr. High. I have approximately 13 years of teaching experience in private and public education. I have taught grades 4-college over the years in the suburbs, city, and small town environments. I did leave teaching for a period of time to raise our children and I am thankful that I had that opportunity to be at home with my children.
We have been in Clay County for approximately 4 years, but my husband's family has been part of Clay County for over 100 years! We are glad to return to the family farm to finish raising our family. In October, Darin and I will have been married for 24 years. We have three children. Peyton is 19 and a sophomore at Lakeland College studying forestry. Dalton is a Junior at North Clay and is very involved in FFA and 4H. Brooke is 13 and involved in basketball and 4H.
My goal is to encourage and inspire students to improve their math skills, but most of all to just be good humans!
