North Cerney Village Hall

North Cerney Village Hall

The village of North Cerney in Gloucestershire is situated alongside the River Churn on the A435 between the lovely market town of Cirencester and the Regency gem that is Cheltenham. In the heart of the village, just a stone’s throw from the village pub (the Bathurst Arms) stands the North Cerney Memorial Village Hall.

The village hall was built in 1926 from local Cotswold stone to commemorate those from the parish who gave their lives in the Great War. It has subsequently been a focus of community life for those living in the village of North Cerney and the surrounding hamlets of Woodmancote, Perrotts Brook, Bagendon and Calmsden.

The hall is run by a committee of local volunteers and has recently undergone a much needed interior and exterior face lift to ensure it serves the needs of the community who continue to use the hall on a regular basis.

Use of the hall, including hiring out to those within and outside the immediate area, continues and our rates and conditions of hire can be found on the ‘Hiring the Hall’ tab.
