The United States GLOBE Program is accepting applications for a GLOBE intern at the STEM Enhancement in Earth Science (SEES) 2020 Summer Internship Program. Interns will learn how to interpret NASA satellite data and work with scientists and engineers at the University of Texas at Austin Center for Space Research. This internship is open to current high school Sophomores and Juniors ONLY who are GLOBE students.
The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is accepting nominations for 40 qualified high school
students interested in attending the SAME/Army Engineering and Construction Camp.
Students will engage in hands-on engineering and construction activities under the mentorship and
supervision of SAME professionals and other volunteers from the local engineering community.

Through hands-on activities, students learn about quantum mechanics, quantum computation, and quantum algorithms. Through the camp, students learn how to construct quantum circuits and algorithms all while developing programming skills in Python.
