Philosophy

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe in creating a comfortable learning environment for all students in my classroom. I want students to feel confident when asking questions, voicing opinions, and collaborating with their peers. Students will flourish and perform their best when they feel accepted and encouraged. I create this climate by recognizing that each student learns differently and they all have unique abilities/strengths. My goal is for students to develop a sense of independence, the ability to be a problem solver, and positive communication skills. In return, students will become valuable members of society.
