Community Events

Community Events are an FRC initiative to give back to our local community.  A few times throughout the school year we will do our very best to support 1 local organization with things that they need over the course of a month.  Below are the upcoming months and what they are in need of. Thanks in advance for the help we are giving to these great places!

Bottle/Can Drive

FRC will have an ongoing returnable bottle & can drive during the year.  We will use this money collected to support the following:

Tail to Paw Animal Support ( Facebook Page)

March Event


For the month of March, we helped out the Community Dining Room..  They are a non-profit organization that provides food, support and companionship to the neighboring shoreline towns like North Branford.  For more information go here

January Event

For the month of January, we collected for Where the love is animal rescue.  This organization is out of Hamden CT  To learn more about them, visit here!

December Event

 For the month of December, the kids helped color/make 110 holiday cards for the senior center at STW to be handed out at their holiday luncheon.  Both JHS & TVES kids were asked to help out with this fun project.

October Event

For the month of October, all FRC sites collected books to be donated to Read To Grow.  I am happy to say that we filled 5 computer paper boxes of books adding up to 381 books total to be delivered.
