Community Events
Community Events are an FRC initiative to give back to our local community. A few times throughout the school year we will do our very best to support 1 local organization with things that they need over the course of a month. Below are the upcoming months and what they are in need of. Thanks in advance for the help we are giving to these great places!

Bottle/Can Drive
FRC will have an ongoing returnable bottle & can drive for the remainder of the year. We will use this money collected to support the following:
Tail to Paw Animal Support ( Facebook Page)
Total amount raised: $12.86 (as of 5/1/23)
The Animal Haven
For the month of April FRC will collected items for THE ANIMAL HAVEN. They're located in North Haven and are a no-kill animal shelter that helps many animals around CT.
On Monday 5/1 I was able to donate the items below. Thanks to those that contributed!
Helping the homeless
For the month of February, FRC we helped support BH care Homeless Hub located in New Haven CT. We collected donations of clothing, toiletries and food to help the homeless.
Thank you to everyone for the outpouring support! I was able to take 1 photo with kids/staff as a representation of only a portion of what we collected.
Holiday Cards for Seniors
For the month of December, FRC was asked to help color/write out some Holiday cards for the senior center located at STW. These cards will be handed out to all seniors that attend their holiday gathering. They were a huge hit last year, which is why we were asked to take part again. I'm happy to announce that between the 2 FRC locations, the kids and staff colored just over 100 cards!!
Book Drive
For the month of October FRC we donated new or gently used books to READ TO GROW which is located in Branford.
On Wednesday November 2nd, we dropped off a total of 213 books!! Thank you to everyone that donated!!
