Meet the Teacher!

Welcome to the 6th grade!

My name is Miss Saavedra and I will be your 6th-grade ELA teacher for the 2023-2024 school year! I am super excited to be a part of the Horace Mann 6th grade team! I love teaching and am constantly looking for new innovative ways to challenge and encourage students!

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year. Together we will embark on many adventures as we read novels, short stories, and informational texts. We will also continue to develop our author's voice by engaging in the writing process.
