We believe in the importance of student choice and enjoyment when it comes to reading, especially in the summertime. In order for students to grow as readers, it is essential to discover the pleasure of reading books that captivate interest and unlock curiosity. We also know that it is important for students to continue to exercise their minds while also enjoying their friends and families during the summer months. 

As you browse the Summer Reading Center, you will find a selection of titles that have been carefully selected by educators in North Babylon. These books are grouped by genre, and they include descriptions and suggested grade levels. We are also excited to share personalized recommendations from some of your favorite teachers and administrators! These recommendations will be highlighted throughout the site and included within the grade levels.

Regardless of level, we encourage parents and students to research reviews and summaries to find books that are the right fit for topics, content and interest.
