Our students are working hard to design a food truck that is appealing and profitable. In order to price each item, students need to analyze real class data. They need choose items to sell, 3D design a logo, and use survey data to create a menu with prices that people would actually buy! There is lots of good conversation and analysis going on!! This will be the final assessment for our statistics unit.

Job applications are due this week! Our 7th graders are working hard to complete applications for the jobs of their choosing. Some of the available positions include: CEO, CFO, Accountant, IT Specialist, Materials manager, etc. The amount of money that each student has at the end of the year depend on how much effort that they put into earning it! We will have an auction at the end of the year for them to spend their money. Next up, statistics!

In AMS class, we will start the year learning about 7th grade and how to work effectively in groups. We will be working in groups a lot this year! We will get the AMS Corporation up and running with job applications and initial salary checks.
Our first unit will be statistics. We will integrate real world data sets and practical applications to the content!
