Full Days Hybrid

Amended Full Day Hybrid Model for Pre-K to 5: Two days of fully in-person learning for hybrid students. Remote-only students can stay with their assigned class or be assigned to a remote-only class to stay on the same remote-only schedule they have had from the start of the school year. Those included below are those who opt to stay with their current class.

Will all students be able to remain with their currently assigned teacher in this model? Yes, all students remain with their currently assigned teacher.

Will all students who elect to attend in person be able to fit in one classroom space?

In many cases yes, though this depends on the final number of students that select in-prerson

What occurs if all students cannot fit in one classroom space?

If student numbers surpass a room's capacity based on the metrics approved by the JLMC, a teacher will use an adjoining room and will have an ESP to support the two classrooms (and potentially a special education teacher as well)

How much direct instructional time during the week will in-person students receive?

23 hours: 2 in-person 5.5 hour days, 2 remote synchronous 5.5 hour days, 1 hour synchronous on Wednesday.

How much direct instructional time during the week will remote-only students, who choose to stay with their assigned teacher, ?receive

12 hours: 2 remote synchronous 5.5 hour days, 1 hour synchronous on Wednesday.

How will students attend specials?

Specials could be provided remotely with support from the ESP in the classroom.

How and where will students each lunch?

There are options here, for instance, students could be in their classroom or in the cafeteria
