Kindergarten
John V. Leigh School is offering a half day Kindergarten Express program during the 2020-2021 school year. Families may request the a.m. or p.m. session; however, the district reserves the right to final placement. A fee-based, full day program is also available at the cost of $2600 for the school year.
Kindergarten Express Program
8:20 – 11:00 a.m. or 12:35 – 3:15 p.m.

Kindergarten is an exciting time for students. Students come to school ready to learn and to make new friends. Our Express Kindergarten program incorporates Literacy, Math, and Social Emotional Skills.
Students will also have an opportunity to eat a snack and engage in structured play. It is a quick paced program for our early learners.
Kindergarten Extended Day
8:20 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Total fee for full day program: $2860 Includes: Full day program: $2600 and Curriculum Fee: $260
The Kindergarten Extended Day fee-based option offers a full day program for our students. In the Kindergarten Extended Day program students will engage in theme based and project based learning activities, Art, Music and Physical Education and learning centers with guided reading opportunities. In addition, students will engage in innovated play opportunities which allow students to develop critical thinking skills, become problem solvers, build peer relationships and learn how to get along with one another. Students will also eat lunch and go outside for recess and structured play.
Payment plans are available; a non-refundable deposit of one month's payment must be paid at registration.
