My name is Kileen Casey and I am so excited to be working with your child in Kindergarten this year! This is my fourth year teaching at John V. Leigh School and my fifth year in District 80. I taught First grade three years ago, but I have been teaching Kindergarten ever since. Before coming to District 80, I worked in a Pre-K class in Chicago Public Schools after graduating from the University of Missouri- Columbia with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.

Outside of school, I spend most of my time with my fiancé, Aaron, our almost 5 year old daughter, Eloise, our 9 month old son, Colin and our dog, Aspen. We all had a fun summer playing outside at pool and in our yard, spending time in Wisconsin! I also love cheering on the Chicago Blackhawks and Mizzou Tigers! Looking forward to a wonderful year!

I look forward to a year unlike any other, full of learning and growth! Welcome to Leigh School!

My name is Marissa Kot and this will be my third year teaching in Norridge District 80! I was born and raised in Edgebrook with my parents, my older sister, and my cat Lexi. During my free time I love to read, be creative, sing, travel, and learn new things! I attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa majoring in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading and English as a Second Language. I am very excited to continue my journey as a teacher here at Leigh with Kindergarten!

My goal for this year in Kindergarten is to create a positive classroom community and encourage your child to be kind everyday! I am looking forward to working with you and getting to know your child and helping them succeed in Kindergarten!
