An Important Update About Yearbooks!
Due to multiple delays throughout the year, we will not be producing two books this year. We will only produce one book as normal that will release in May. It will cover the entire year.
If you purchased the fall book, your order already counts for the Spring book so there's nothing additional to purchase.
If you haven't ordered yet, there's still time, but hurry because quantities are more limited this year.
If you have any questions about the yearbook please email Kerry Friesen at kerryf@norman.k12.ok.us
In addition to textbooks and library books all seniors are expected to turn in their NPS assigned computer and charger. If you were assigned a hotspot that will also need to be turned in with any other NPS assigned items.
Seniors and any students leaving the district can turn in the NPS assigned items starting Monday May 24th at the tech bar daily until 3 and in rooms 702/3 from 3-5 pm. Thursday May 27th there will be a curbside drop off at the College and Career entrance from 1-5 pm. If none of those times work students can make arrangements to bring items in at another time.
If you are going to be needing the NPS assigned device after the drop off date for further classes with Norman Public Schools please fill out this form: Late turn in form
Any laptops not turned in by 5 pm on May 27th and not confirmed as part of the Late Turn In form may be disabled.
As you prepare to return the NPS assigned Macbook, there may be items in Drive and Gmail that need to be retained. Please plan on copying these items out of email and/or Drive, as student accounts are scheduled to be inactivated thirty (30) days after students leave the district. Google has an app designed for this at takeout.google.com. If you need assistance with this, please contact the NHS helpdesk by email at NHS-itech-help@norman.k12.ok.us .
If there is a case on the assigned Macbook and that needs to be kept please remove it before turning it in; if you don't want the case we will remove it and reuse it for students who can’t buy themselves a case.
If you are interested in purchasing a Macbook like the one students have used this year (13” Macbook Air, 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 128GB Storage, 8 MB Ram) NPS has worked with our partners at Apple to get educational pricing for NPS families for comparable Macbooks. Use this link https://www.apple.com/us-hed/shop for that option. The current assigned macbooks are not available for purchase.
