Coding for Kids - the following websites are free for kids to use and teach them how to code through engaging and super fun games and activities. If the websites require a login, you can use their school email address (sign in through Google) to make it easy to keep track of logins and passwords!

Art Resources:

  • Dav Pilkey, famous for series like Dog Man and Captain Underpants, is teaming up with the Library of Congress for both read alouds and drawing videos. Click here!

  • Mo Willems, a long time favorite at Kennedy, is doing lunch time Doodles. Click here!

  • Ed Vere, author and illustrator of children's books like How to Be a Lion, has posted quite a few videos showing how to draw his book characters! He posts new videos every Wednesday and Friday. Click here!

  • Helene Boudreau, author and illustrator, is reading her new book, Mason and the Mega-Nauts, and offering a draw-along as well. Submit your artwork via the email link and potentially have it included when she publishes the book! Click here!
