TEMPLATES

Below you will find a few different templates for lock clues. You will NOT be able to edit any of these templates until you MAKE A COPY of it to have in your Google Drive. I would suggest renaming the Document/Drawing/Sheet with something you will remember after you make a copy.

Matching Word Lock (Google Drawing)

This template can be used with vocabulary or equations or whatever you might think up. I would suggest keeping the same connecting lines and fill in the boxes before deleting the lines and sharing on your Breakout.

The letters can be changed as well to fit another 7 letter word as it currently exists.

Digital Breakout: Slope Intercept Form

Short Answer Number Lock (Conditionally Formatted Google Sheet)

This template was created for a Slope Breakout. It can be used for short word or number answers to have the output of a 4 digit number when answered correctly.

The questions and answers can be changed by changing a few formulas within a hidden sheet called "Magic."

The formulas are in white text in cells Z600,

=IF(Sheet1!B4="y=-1/2x+2","6", "0")

Matching/Ordering Color Lock (Google Drawing)

This template was created for a Life Cycle Breakout. The life cycle of a turtle has been jumbled and needs to be put back in order. The correct result will give the order of a color lock.

This template can be altered with different pictures and/or colors. This template might better serve as an example to recreate your own Google Drawing rather than attempting to use it to make your own.

Life Cycle Breakout Duck

Presentation Directional Lock (Google Slides)

This presentation can be used as a guide or template for creating a directional lock. Because this was designed for elementary, students in middle/high school may find this clue to be too easy.

This presentation could be changed with more advanced content and more hidden directional clues or directional clues hidden as words instead of pictures.
