Athletes of the week are nominated by coaches and/or athletes as individuals who stood out that week for demonstrating one or more of the following characteristics:
Doing "it" right, whatever "it" may be
Working hard every day to improve
Having a top performance overall in the meet
Setting a new personal record (PR) in an event
Going above and beyond
Trying a new event
Having a positive attitude
Being a good teammate
Overcoming adversity
