Is it possible to insert peptides after a peeling treatment in the clinic?
If so, how long should I wait before doing so?
Inserting peptides after peeling is recommended. When applying a peel, the foundation layer remains "open" for a short time afterward, and during this time it is recommended to do penetrations in general.
💧 When applying peels based on glycolic acid, the peptides can be inserted immediately after neutralizing (since it is hydrophilic).
💧 When applying peels based on pyruvic acid, it is recommended to insert the peptides at least 15 minutes after neutralization, for which all the molecules have lost a proton.
💧 In fact, peels don't interact with peptides after 15 minutes or so, when all the acids have given up a proton and "finished" their peeling function.
