Chromebook Guidelines

Chromebooks are a required classroom resource this year. It is important that we follow some important rules and demonstrate respect and good citizenship in regards to having the privilege of using a Chromebook in our classroom. Here is our classroom Chromebook pledge:

As a student at Nativity of Our Lord School, I have the opportunity to use a Chromebook in class. To keep this privilege,

I will always:

• use the Chromebook as a learning tool.

• carefully use the Chromebook.

• log in to the Chromebook and network as myself.

• treat others and their ideas with respect when working online.

• keep water and food off of my desk when using a Chromebook.

• only use my school email for school purposes.

• promptly close my Chromebook when my teacher asks me to.

• inform my teacher if there is a problem with my Chromebook.

• log off, shut down, and put away my Chromebook at the end of the session.

• close and carry my Chromebook with two hands when moving from one area to another.
