AES Engineering Scholarship- October 8
Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. John T. Belcher Scholarship Award- October 31
A $1000 annual scholarship is awarded to a student in each of MSBA’s 17 regions. Applicants are judged on the basis of academic performance, extracurricular activities and the quality of an essay. Nodaway County Cattlemen's Association- December 1
The Nodaway County Cattlemen's Association will once again be offering a scholarship to EACH Nodaway County school district. Burger King Scholars - December 15

Beginning with the spring (January) 2022 semester, high school juniors and seniors may be eligible to receive a scholarship that covers the tuition and fees for their dual credit or dual enrollment courses. To qualify, students must be taking dual credit or dual enrollment courses from a Missouri college or university and meet the eligibility criteria listed under Am I Eligible? below. Awards will be prioritized based on financial need determined by adjusted gross income (AGI) from the most recent tax year.

NCMC Dual Credit Scholarship/ Jack N. Young, Mildred M. Young, Noble J. Young and Myra A. Young - February 4

Each scholarship recipient will be given a one-time scholarship of $324 to use toward their tuition. All submissions are reviewed and selection is made by the scholarship committee. The Missouri United School Insurance Council (MUSIC) Scholarship- February 14
MUSIC members are designated into three enrollment size categories: small, medium and large. Six scholarships (two in each category) of $2,000.00 each (nonrenewable) will be awarded to graduating seniors of districts that are MUSIC members. The following guidelines will govern the scholarship program.
1. The public high school you attend must be in a district that is a current member of MUSIC, unless a K-8 district nominates you.
2. Only ONE application from each high school is to be submitted.
3. The application form must be postmarked by February 14. Late applications will not be considered.
4. All applications must be (typed) printed. No handwritten applications will be considered.
5. A copy of your official high school transcript (based on seven semesters) including your ACT or SAT score needs to accompany your application.
6. Your application packet should include a letter of recommendation from a district administrator, counselor or teacher (submit only one (1) letter).

FCS Financial Scholarship- March 1
The scholarship program began in 2004 to support higher education for children or grandchildren of FCSF customers. Each year, up to 35 scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each are provided to eligible Missouri high school seniors. Since its inception, more than $825,000 and 670 scholarships have been awarded.
American Welding Society Scholarships- March 1
What types of scholarships are offered by the AWS Foundation?
National, District, Section and Welder Training Scholarships are available for students pursuing education in welding or welding-related programs trade/technical schools, community colleges and universities. Your Academic Profile will determine the specific scholarships you are eligible for.
What is the deadline to apply?
The deadline for National and District Scholarships is March 1st. Most Section Scholarship applications are due March 1, however some have later deadlines. The deadline for each scholarship will be indicated in the application.
What eligibility requirements must I meet to receive a District Scholarship?
Most importantly, you must be enrolled in a welding-related educational or training program.
You must also be a high school graduate or possess a GED equivalent.
The school you attend must be in the United States or its territories, except for international scholarships.
You must also fill out the scholarship application and provide any documentation requested in the application instructions.

This fund is for students who are pursing a degree in education at a 4-year college/university or 2-year college/vocational school.

The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri- March 1
MULTIPLE Scholarships on their Scholar-Link portal. Nearly 100 scholarships will be presented to graduating Among the scholarships are two specific athletic related scholarships - The Tyler Davis Memorial Wrestling Scholarship and the Doug Harper Memorial Scholarships for participants of the recent Holiday Hoops event. There is no charge to apply for either and the awards are $1000.00 and $500.00 respectively payable to the College/University of your choice.

When completing the application, please be sure to have the student choose “FMIC – Nodaway County” under MAMIC Member Affiliation – Company Name along with the relationship of any member of the family that is affiliated with our company. That way they will be considered for the local company scholarship. Please note – the student does not need to have an affiliation to apply for the 8 MAMIC scholarships.

Masonic Scholarship Foundation Application- March 1
Scholarships are available to any Missouri high school senior who meets the criteria on the scholarship application. A high school transcript that includes test scores, grade point average, class rank, etc., is required, along with a list of school activities, awards, offices held and honors. The applicant must also include a list of community and volunteer activities, and a short essay about why they are applying and their future goals.

The Missouri Bankers Foundation Scholarship Fund is designed to encourage college-level study for young people who are interested in pursuing a career in the field of banking.
Rural Missouri High School Education Fund (MARE)- March 10 (Postmark date)
The goals to be achieved through the Rural Missouri High School Senior Scholarship Fund include: Attracting quality students to enroll in teacher education programs in a Missouri College or University. Improving the economic development of rural communities by upgrading the education system to provide a well-educated, skilled work force Attract intelligent, energetic individuals to furnish leadership skills in rural communities.
State Tech College- March 15
The Foundation for State Technical College of Missouri manages over 40 scholarships sponsored exclusively for students attending State Tech.
To apply for any of the Foundation Scholarships, please complete the Scholarship Application. Scholarship eligibility is determined by application information. In addition to fulfilling scholarship criteria, consideration is based on availability of funds.
All students must have applied with State Tech before completing the scholarship application.
Holt County Farm Bureau- March 15
Must be a Holt/Nodaway County residents; parents of the applicant must an active Farm Bureau membership for the past year. Applicants must show academic and leadership abilities. Recipients must enroll in a degree program at a trade school or college. This scholarship is a minimum of $250.00 and is to be used for tuition. Please feel free to make copies of the application as needed.

Eligibility
To be eligible, the applicant must:
• be a graduating high school senior, have graduated high school, or have earned a high school equivalency diploma (GED, HiSET, TASC).
• plan to enroll full-time in a nonprofit community college, technical school, trade school, vocational school, or full-time or part-time in an apprenticeship program in the United States
• intend to complete an associate degree, pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship, or certificate program leading to work in the construction trades (such as carpentry, construction management, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, sheet metal, welding, telecom, etc.).
• have achieved a minimum grade point average (G.P.A.) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, 456 on the GED, or 60 on the HiSET (at least an 8 on each subtest) or equivalent scores on a state-sanctioned test.
• demonstrate unmet financial need.
The Missouri Association of County Clerks and Election Authorities (MACCEA) has a scholarship opportunity open to all Missouri High School Seniors.
NO digital signatures will be accepted. The applicants must follow the requirements and submit completed applications with all necessary documents and information required. No application will be submitted without all the required information.

NCMC Standard Scholarship Application- All applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on March 31.
If March 31 falls on a weekend all applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the Friday prior to March 31.

The Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture- March 29
The Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture will award four – $500 scholarships to students pursuing appropriate certification in fields related to and supportive of agriculture. This includes, but is not limited to: 1) Heavy Equipment Operations; 2) Electronics; 3) Welding; and 4) Diesel and Farm Machinery Repair. NOTE: Students pursuing a 4-year degree are not eligible.
This program is a service to Farm Bureau members thus all applicants, their parent(s), or guardian must hold an active membership in Missouri Farm Bureau.
Each recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student starting the fall semester of the year in which the scholarship is awarded.
Applicants must be a student in good academic standing and have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Students who are currently enrolled in the program, or students graduating from high school, may make application for the scholarship
All applicants must submit 1) a letter of recommendation from a school official (teacher, counselor, or administrator); 2) a
letter of personal reference; 3) a letter of recommendation from an employer or work supervisor (if applicable); 4) and a
copy of the high school transcript or GED Certificate.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nodaway County- April 1
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nodaway County believes every child has potential. Continued education beyond high school is important whether that is attending a community college, a 4-year university or a trade school. In an effort to encourage and support our Littles to further their education, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nodaway County is offering scholarships to current or previous Littles in the program whom are graduating this academic year. Preference will be given to Littles that are currently matched. The number of scholarships and amount thereof will be determined by the selection committee with a minimum award amount of $300 and a maximum award amount of $1000 per student. Award amounts may vary annually depending on funding availability.
Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship- April 1
Must enroll part- or full-time at a vocational technical school, trade school, or two-year community college. Must pursue an associate degree, certificate or industry-recognized credential in one of the fields listed on the application including Computer and Information Sciences, Engineering, Engineering Technologies, Mechanic & Repair Technologies, or Precision Production.

Northwest Missouri Financial Women Scholarship- April 1st
Applicants must be FEMALE and have a GPA of greater than or equal to 3.0 on the scale of 4.0 and plan to attend an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in business or finance. Qualified Missouri applicants must reside in Andrew, Nodaway, Buchanan, Holt, DeKalb, Gentry, Atchison, Worth, Clinton, Harrison, Daviess, Platte, Clay, Caldwell, Grundy, or Livingston County. Applicants must also be pursuing a degree in business or finance.

Maryville Garden Club- April 1st
The Maryville Garden Club has established a scholarship award to directly support our aims: “To stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening among amateurs; to aid in the protection of native trees, plants and birds; and to encourage civic planting.” The purpose is to encourage young people to pursue and expand their interest in these areas and to engage with a local garden club.
One scholarship in the amount of $500 will be awarded each year, to be applied by the recipient toward courses at a post-secondary institution.
Candidate Eligibility
· Candidate must be a graduating high school senior in good standing and must be currently enrolled in a high school in Nodaway County, Missouri.
· Candidate must be enrolling in a college, university, trade school, or other institution of higher learning in the fall of the year of graduation from high school. (Funds will be paid directly to the post-secondary institution.)
Northwest Docudrama- April 14th
The Northwest Missouri Docudrama Scholarship Fund will award this scholarship to college-bound high school seniors based on academic achievement and an express interest in pursuing education in Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Fire and Disaster Management or related field.
Charles L. Bacon Memorial Scholarship- April 20
Must be a member of The American Legion Family, i.e., Legion Member, Auxiliary Member, S.A.L. Member, or a descendant* of any member thereof.
M.D. "Jack" Murphy Memorial Nurses Training Scholarship- April 20
Basis for Eligibility:
One applicant planning a career as a Registered Nurse. The scholarship must be used the first fall semester upon completion of high school.
Must be the descendent* of a veteran having served 90 days on active duty in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States, and having an honorable discharge. A copy of the veteran's discharge or separation notice must be submitted with the application. The copy must show the date the veteran entered service and the date the veteran left service.
Erman W. Taylor Memorial Scholarship- April 20
Basis for Eligibility:
Must be the descendent* of a veteran having served 90 days on active duty in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States, and having an honorable discharge. A copy of the veteran's discharge or separation notice must be submitted with application. The copy must show the date the veteran entered service and the date the veteran left service
Be a resident of the state of Missouri.
Consideration for scholarship will be determined annually for high school graduates in NEED of financial aid to attend a college / university.
Student must be planning to major in education. A counselor’s statement must be attached. The counselor’s statement should be on school letterhead, attest to the student’s ability and desire to major in education or a related field, and must be signed by the school counselor.
Scholarship must be used the first fall semester of a college / university following graduation from high school.

Basis for Eligibility:
One boy who has attended a full session of Missouri Boys State or who has been selected to attend Missouri Boys State or Missouri Cadet Patrol in 2022 or one girl who has attended a full session of Missouri Girls State or who has been selected to attend Missouri Girls State or Missouri Cadet Patrol
Must be the descendent* of a veteran having served 90 days on active duty in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States, and having an honorable discharge. Basis for Eligibility:
Each High School in the state of Missouri may submit only one application for this award. Applicant must be selected by the faculty of the High School he/she is attending based on the individuals financial need, participation in athletics, participation in school activities/clubs, volunteer work, exceptional leadership qualities, high moral standards and extreme patriotism.
Recipient must be a full-time student in an accredited college or university in the state of Missouri.
Applicant must be a resident of the state of Missouri.

Nodaway County Farm Bureau- May 1
The Nodaway County Farm Bureau has modified its annual scholarship program as a way to encourage students the importance of education in trades and professions necessary to the benefit of agriculture and rural America, this award to be given to any student that intends to improve their education through a tech school, community college or university setting.
