This work is a community project led by teachers at Northern New Mexico College (NNMC) and Española Valley High School (EVHS) and funded by the Encantado Foundation. We aim to develop youth creativity, technical competence, and leadership while bringing the hope of a promising technology to people suffering from Parkinson's disease. This technology is a pair of gloves, invented in the Stanford laboratory of Peter Tass, whose small vibrations of the fingertips have been shown to reduce several of the motion symptoms associated with Parkinson's disease.
Our current technical design paper.
