Drama 8

8th Grade students will learn the art of communicating using gestures, movements, and other forms of physical expression throughout the month of September. After practicing by playing Charades, they will create a silent video based on following the PATH (prepare daily, act appropriately, take responsibility, have respect). Once I have filmed each group, the students will edit their videos using Windows Live Movie Maker software. Their videos will be premiered during all of my Drama classes!

We are also having a "Performance Day" - our own mini-talent show in class. Students can come prepared to sing, act, dance, cheer, step, or show us their athletic, artistic, or technical skills by bringing medals, pictures, or creating a PowerPoint. There are many ways in which they can participate, and I always encourage them that they all have a talent, and I will help them discover it!
