Jenkins (and all of NNPS) use the MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) model to guide our responses and services for students, in the area of both academic progress and behavior. Our MTSS team works hard to put systems in place to celebrate desired behaviors and respond to undesired behaviors. Information on these systems is linked below. These are important to help us celebrate our wins and respond to issues before they become a crisis. Your support in use of these systems and tracking data is critical so that we can problem solve together.
Everything starts with our ROAR expectations, displayed at the bottom of the page. These four positively stated expectations should guide student and adult behavior in all areas of the building. They must be taught explicitly - don't just assume students know! - and reviewed often, in the specific locations if possible.
