Week of November 24, 2025:
We have a short week with it being a holiday break. Students are only in school on Monday and Tuesday.
Students in grades 9–11 now have access to their PSAT scores from the October testing window. They can log in to their College Board accounts to view their results. Math teachers will also be providing a copy of each student’s scores during math class. As a reminder, 11th-grade students are required by the state to take the SAT in the spring of 2026.
Our 8th grade students will be participating in a field trip this Monday to the Finance Park in Lafayette.
Our FFA students will be competing in the Forestry competition on Tuesday. We wish them the best of luck!
Thank you to the North Newton FCCLA for providing Thanksgiving meals and additional staple food items to 37 families this holiday week. We also appreciate everyone who donated and supported this effort. Your generosity made a meaningful impact on our community.
North Newton School Corporation is wanting feedback and input for the 2026-2027 school calendar. Please provide feedback using this LINK
Thank you to ALL who have donated to our school-wide Monopoly Game. This fun game for both staff and students isn't possible with out the donations from the community.
December is around the corner and so is the end of the 1st semester. Please make sure your student is showing you their grades in PowerSchool. Please reach out if you have any questions or are unable to access PowerSchool.

Our district has an anonymous tip line. Students and families are encouraged to use the "Say Something Anonymous Tip Line" to report any concerns about safety, including potential drug-related activities. This tool helps empower our school community to play an active role in keeping our environment safe. This reporting system can be located on our district website, texting TIP to 79775, or going to www.saysomething.net.
Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me, Kathryn Heintz, at kheintz@nn.k12.in.us, or to Assistant Principal Tony Brooks at tbrooks@nn.k12.in.us.
