Week of November 3, 2025:
We hope everyone had a nice weekend and enjoyed the extra hour.
Tomorrow, November 4, students will participate in a Body Safety Assembly. The program empowers students to recognize and respond to cyberbullying, the four types of abuse (physical, emotional, sexual, and neglect), relationship abuse, digital abuse, and other online risks. It is based on the latest research and has been reviewed and endorsed by national experts.
Sara Hoyt will be hosting a virtual "Parent Night" on Monday, November 3rd from 5:30-6:30pm. This virtual meeting is an excellent opportunity to gain more information about the Body Safety assembly from the presenter herself, Sara Hoyt. Please access this virtual parent night via the Teams link below.
Meeting ID: 224 223 018 883 0

If you do not want your student to attend, they must pick up a Parent Opt-Out Form in Student Services and return the signed form to Student Services before the assembly.
Letters were sent home to families of students who are not up to date on their required immunizations. Please note that any student who is not compliant by November 14 will be excluded from school until the required immunizations—or an approved exemption form—are submitted.
If you believe you received a notice in error or if you have questions, please contact the school nurse. Religious exemption forms are also available upon request through the Nurse’s Office.
We are bringing back our school-wide Monopoly Game during the first week of December. At this time, we are accepting donations to be used as prizes. Our district has an anonymous tip line. Students and families are encouraged to use the "Say Something Anonymous Tip Line" to report any concerns about safety, including potential drug-related activities. This tool helps empower our school community to play an active role in keeping our environment safe. This reporting system can be located on our district website, texting TIP to 79775, or going to www.saysomething.net.
Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me, Kathryn Heintz, at kheintz@nn.k12.in.us, or to Assistant Principal Tony Brooks at tbrooks@nn.k12.in.us.

Our JAG students attended the Trade and Construction Fair last week, where they explored post-secondary and career opportunities in skilled trades. In addition, the JAG class held its Initiation and Installation Ceremony, officially welcoming new members and student leaders. Students in Mr. Holmes’ and Ms. Stevens’ classes enjoyed a fun, themed activity by playing Halloween miniature golf. It was a great combination of teamwork, creativity, and seasonal spirit!
