My name is Amber Peters and I am the Physical Education teacher, ASB director, Activities Director, Admin Assistant and Site Technology Coordinator at Early College High School in Costa Mesa, Ca. I am excited to announce I am going into my fourth year of teaching and my third year at ECHS! Before Early College High School, I was fortunate to teach beside a wonderful staff at Stauffer Middle School in Downey. Along with teaching physical education, I am the coordinator for our dance and soccer programs, advisor for the community service club (Key Club and Rotary Interact), PBIS team-member, and Friday School supervisor.
I was born and raised in Costa Mesa. I am an alumni of Estancia High School. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with my Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Physical Education (2014), Teaching Credential (2015) and a Masters of Science Degree in Educational Technology (2017).
In addition to teaching, I have 12 years of coaching experience for Splash Aquatics Swim Team and 9 years experience at Estancia High School for aquatics. I was also a very active member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity at CSUF.
In my spare time I enjoy participating in a variety of races including Aquathons, Triathlons and 1/2 Marathons. I also love spending time with my family, coaching, running my dog, visiting the beach and rock climbing.
