Please read through the Q&A provided
Q: Do I have to take my senior photo?
A: In order to have your photo in the yearbook, you need to take a senior portrait with Barksdale School Portraits.
Q: Do I have to schedule an appointment?
A: Yes, click on this "Senior Portrait Scheduling" link or the green bar above
Q: What if I can't make the dates scheduled on campus?
A: Contact Barksdale directly to take your photo at their studio. You must take your photo before the end of October.
Q: How much is it for just my yearbook photo?
A: $20
Q: Who / how do I pay for my portrait?
A: You pay Barksdale directly when you schedule your appointment.
Q: Can I pick which photo to use for the yearbook?
A: Yes, follow the directions in the email you receive AFTER you take your photos. The main photo is the one that will be sent to the yearbook company if you do not change it.
Q: What do I wear for my portrait?
A: For the basic yearbook photo package, there is a specific suggested dress code (see below). Should you purchase additional packages or photos, you have a choice as to what you would like to wear.
Suggestions: wear a dress shirt and tie or sweater or blouse. NO BARE ARMS OR SHOULDERS. No sleeveless, strapless or spaghetti straps please (they do not photograph nicely). NO t-shirts allowed. Coats are optional. It is also suggested that students wear a solid color dress shirt.
Q: I want to retake my photo, is that possible?
A: You will need to contact Barksdale directly. There is a tight deadline for the yearbook photo.
Q: Can I only take my yearbook photo or can I take different ones for personal announcements?
A: Yes, there are package options. You can pick different packages based on your personal needs. Yearbook is not responsible for any packages purchased.
Q: Will there be any make up dates?
A: No, sorry this year we are unable to schedule a make up date on campus.
*Students with financial hardship will need to contact Mrs. Cottriel directly.
*Yearbook is not responsible or available to pick or change your senior portraits. Photos are uploaded directly from Barksdale to our yearbook company. We do not have any contact with the disc or photos.
