Summary of Unique Capabilities:

Optics: Facilitied for the development of classical optical systems with an emphasis on interferometers and schleirin systems using lasers, and incoherent light source. Imaging and adaptive optics sytems for wavefront sensing and correction.

Acoustics: Phased acoustic arrays, acoustic levitation, acoustic and passive sensing systems are developed for a wide range of applications.

Electronics: Tradition electronic tools are used for the development of instrumentation that combine optics and acoustics into novel tools. Combining electronic and magnetic systems.

Energetic materials: Interaction of electrical discharges with energetic materials based on software driven multi-stage Cockcroft-Walton voltage doublers. Novel applications of firesets and triggers.

Additive manufacturing: Supporting the optics system, several 3D printing systems are used in system development and prototyping to rapidly construct systems at low cost. 

Modeling and Simulation: Physics based modelling is used to support system development and have resulted in several novel tools used in high-voltage, vibrating and resonant systems and ballistic calculators.
