First Time User?
Important: Your library account and password are separate from your BanWeb account and your Academic Lab Login for ITC computers.
To gain access to your Library account, you must first activate it by setting up your password (click on the box labeled "Set/Reset Password").
You will receive an email at your nmt.edu email address prompting you to create a password.
Then, you will be able to log in to view your account.
Your online library account allows you to submit Interlibrary Loan requests (ILL), view items you've checked out, see when they're due, and renew them online. It also grants you access to the online resources provided by the library.
NMT undergraduate students may check out most items from our general collection for thirty days. All DVDs may be checked out for three days. Undergraduates also have access to our electronic resources from any location.
Renewals: Materials can be renewed if another patron has not placed a hold on the items. You can renew items up to 3 times before returning them to the library. The easiest way to renew your items is to log in to your library account.
Fines: There are no overdue fees for items that are returned late. If an item from the library's collection is lost or damaged, you may be expected to pay the replacement cost. See our fines and fees policy for more information.
NMT graduate students may check out most items from our general collection until the end of the current semester. All DVDs may be checked out for three days. Graduate students also have access to our electronic resources from any location.

Community Borrower cards allow members of the community who are not associated with NMT to check out library materials. Community borrowers may check out most items from our general collection for thirty days. All DVDs may be checked out for three days. Community borrowers are not eligible to use Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
Computers: Computers are available for reference and internet use free of charge. To get a community computer pass, please bring a valid photo ID to the Circulation Desk. Passes are good for two hours of computer use and can be obtained once per day. Children under 17 years of age need to be under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian.
WiFi Access: If you wish to use the library's WiFi through your own device, please bring a valid photo ID to the Circulation Desk to obtain a pass. WiFi passes are good for two hours.
Renewals: Please bring items for renewal to the Circulation Desk. Reserve materials and DVDs may not be renewed.
Fines: See our fines policy for information on billing for overdue, lost, and damaged items.
First Time Community Borrower?
To obtain a Community Borrower Card, fill out an application at the Circulation Desk. A physical library card will be mailed to the address you provide. Once you receive your library card in the mail, you are eligible to check items out.

The circulation desk is located to the right as you enter the library.
We are happy to assist patrons check materials in, out, and renew items.
