Leadership Workshop November 1, 2026
Leadership Workshop November 1, 2026
Our November leadership workshop will be led by legendary dancer and choreographer, Kim Holmes! The date of the workshop is Sunday, November 1, 11am-1pm.
This workshop session will be the first in a three-part series led by Kim. DELTA students are required to attend the first session and strongly encouraged to attend the entire series. The final two sessions of the series will be on November 8 and 15.
On November 1, Kim will introduce Hip-Hop history and culture alongside foundational movement, groove, bounce, footwork, freestyle, and musicality. Participants will build confidence, rhythm, and a shared vocabulary in an encouraging environment.
Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in (no jeans) and supportive sneakers only (no slipons, Crocs, ballet/jazz shoes). Bring a water bottle and a non-refrigerated snack to enjoy during the break if you would like.
We know that exploring movement can feel intimidating, especially if you don’t consider yourself a dancer, but there’s no need to worry! All experience levels are welcome, and every body, every movement, and every expression will be celebrated!
