Join us for our November DELTA Leadership Workshop, led by DELTA Alum, Tyler Goldchain!
In this DELTA Workshop, Tyler plans to dive into the art of performance—what it means, how it evolves, and how you can make it your own. During this interactive presentation, you’ll get to explore three key ideas: interdisciplinary performance styles, performing in the digital age, and discovering your unique artistic voice. Come ready to participate, reflect, and create!
Tyler has led several dynamic sessions with our group, including one on the role of music in social justice movements and the power of an anthem. We’ll be sharing more about this week’s focus soon, but you can expect an inspiring and engaging experience.
For those who haven’t met Tyler yet, you can learn a bit about his journey at NMS in this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wbgvsi6OKDI
From 7:00–8:00 PM, we’ll be hosting a Jam Workshop in collaboration with Trey Moore of Seeing Sounds. This session is a great opportunity to learn how to jam with a live house band in a supportive setting.
At 8:00 PM, the jam will open up to the community for a full night of music-making and collaboration. The jams are always a great time and a fun way to practice playing—and creating—with others
All instruments and experience levels are welcome, and dancers are encouraged to join in too! We encourage you to invite friends to the workshop and jam!

SPOOKY, SCARY HAPPY LITTLE FAILS - How to look fear in the face, survive and grow from messups, fails, bloopers, mistakes, and everything scary that comes with being a live performer. During this workshop, we'll safely explore and learn why mistakes aren't just a reality, but a necessity in becoming the best performer you can be. We'll also learn how to reach out to each other as artists and community members to overcome the biggest obstacles and tiniest personal fears we associate with performing in and exploring the arts.
