Literature-map.com. Type an author's name into this site and it will build a map of similar authors whose works you might enjoy. It's cool! :)

Did you know that the Michigan eLibrary (MeL) has access to hundreds of magazines for free online?


Students - You can read things like Sports Illustrated, Teen Vogue, Teen Ink, Girls' Life, Scout Life, etc.


Teachers - You can search online magazines for nonfiction articles that might be of interest for your content/curriculum.


To access them...


1.  Go to the Michigan eLibrary 

2.  Click on the eJournals link at the top of the page...

3.  Once you are on the eJournals page, you can type in the name of the magazine you are looking for, or a topic into the search bar, or click on a topic to see what magazines they have.

4.  Once you get your search results back, you can click on the title of the magazine you want to look at:

5.  ​Then you can click on one of the sites that will take you to the articles (it will show you the date range of the magazines that are available).


6.  Then you will see a list of the year that are available on the right hand side of the screen.  Click on the year you want, then the issue you want and it will show you links for all the articles in that issue.
