Lost/Damaged Books 📚

When a student loses or damages materials 

(books, calculators, chargers, computer mouse, phones, textbooks and Chromebooks)

There are FOUR ways to make up for the loss:

1. Pay for materials at the Library Front Desk with Mrs.Arista or Ms.Rivera

2. Replace the EXACT item by purchasing online. Replacements are not eligible for refunds if original is found. (EXACT ISBN number) *** this does not apply for Technology***

3. Make a monthly (reasonable) payment plan.

4. The student can perform service to the school library in lieu of paying money. Resources are worked off at a rate of $15.00 per hour and are not eligible for refund.

ALL TEXTBOOKS, CALCULATORS, BOOKS ARE DUE ON OR

 BEFORE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL. 

Libros Perdidos o Dañados 📚

Si un estudiante pierde o daña un material

(libro, calculador, cargador, ratón para la computadora, teléfono, libro de texto o Computadora)

Hay CUATRO maneras de repagar el gasto:

1. Pagar por los materiales con efectivo o cheque. Entregarlo directamente a la Sra.Arista o a la Sra.Rivera en la biblioteca de la Preparatoria.

2. Reemplazar el objeto comprandolo por internet . Reemplazos no son elegibles para reembolso, si el original se encuentra. (tiene que tener ISBN number exacto)
   *** no aplica para objetos de Technologia***

3. Hacer un plan de pago razonable, mensualmente.

4. El estudiante puede hacer servicio en la biblioteca en vez de pagar con dinero. Se repagara a $15.00 por la hora y no es elegible para reembolso. 

LIBROS DE TEXTO, CALCULADORAS Y LIBROS SE TIENEN QUE REGRESAR ANTES DE O EL ULTIMO DIA DE ESCUELA.

Technology Policy -  Politica de tecnología

• All devices are loaners (mouse, Chromebook, Chromebook chargers, phones, hotspot, hotspot chargers) must be returned upon graduation

• If your device needs to be serviced or fixed please come to the Library Front desk to be referred to an IT technician

• Fees are listed above for physical damage. Parents will be notified of charges for damage

• Procedure for stolen devices: 

1. If stolen off campus a police report must filed within 3 days of theft. If stolen on school Campus, it must be reported to HS Ad

2. report will be recorded in student Library file 

3. In the event that a Chromebook is stolen, IT Tech will check the most recent use of the device

4. Final decisions of financial charges or fee waivers made by admin will be notified to student and parent

• Charges may be disputed with Principal Martinez or Vice Principal Lopez or Vice Principal Narez

• Todo dispositivo son prestados (ratón para computadora, chromebook, chromebook cargador, teléfono ,dispositivo de internet y su cargador) se tienen que regresar cuando el estudiante se gradúa

• Si tu dispositivo o Chromebook necesita reparos o no esta funcionando, traelo a mesa de servicio en la biblioteca para que el IT tech lo pueda reparar

• Cargos para fisico daño a la computadora están enlistados arriba. Cargos serán reportados a los padres del estudiante

• Procedimientos para dispositivos robados: 

1. El estudiante o los padres deben informar la pérdida dentro de los 3 días.

2. El informe se registrará en el archivo de la biblioteca del estudiante

3. En caso de robo de un Chromebook, IT Tech comprobará el uso más reciente del dispositivo 

4. Las decisiones finales sobre cargos financieros o exenciones de tarifas tomadas por el administrador se notificarán al estudiante y a los padres.

• Los cargos pueden ser disputados con la directora Martínez o el subdirector López o el subdirector Narez
