Meet Mrs. Snyder

My name is Jamie Snyder, and I am very excited to be the Reading Specialist at Peter's Elementary School. Prior to this, I taught 1 year as a Reading Specialist at Union Terrace Elementary School and Jefferson Elementary School. I taught 1 year as an Early Literacy Intervention Specialist (K-2) at Central Elementary School and Sheridan Elementary School. I taught 3rd grade for 4 years, and 4th and 5th grade Learning Support at DeFranco Elementary School. I hold my certifications in Elementary Ed PreK-4, Special Ed PK-8, Masters - Reading Specialist, and Administration PK-12. I am currently pursing my doctorate at Lehigh University in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Literacy. I look forward to working with all of you in creating a positive learning environment for our children. Family is very important to me and that is why I will work with all of you and create a great school community.
