NLMS Music
What is band?
Band is a performance-based class that meets during the school day. During this class, students will learn how to play a band instrument of their choice (Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone or Percussion). Some students may be invited to transition to other instruments during their 7th and 8th grade year such as F horn, baritone, tuba and/or tenor saxophone.Â

What is Choir?
Choir is a performance based class that meets during the school day. Students learn how to sing music with their peers, and also learn beginning music theory concepts throughout the course. Choir is open to all students grades 6-8!
