Mr. Fulk - Band Director
Band Director, Michael Fulk, is currently in his 2nd year at New Lexington Schools and in his 21st year as a music educator. Mr. Fulk is a 1999 graduate of the New Lexington Schools. Mr. Fulk received his Bachelor of Music Education from Ohio University, Athens, where he was a 5-year member of “The Most Exciting Band in the Land”, the Marching 110. At Ohio University, he studied trumpet with John Schlabach and worked as a student jazz instructor under Earnest Bastine. Mr. Fulk previously taught ten years at Union Scioto Schools (Chillicothe, Ohio) and an additional nine years at Russia Local School, (Shelby County, Ohio). Mr. Fulk is a proud parent to his three children, Madelynn 14, Mason 12, and Miles 11. During leisure time, he enjoys gardening, camping, fishing, hunting mushrooms, and creating fun memories with his children.
Mr. Fulk believes in providing the best educational experiences for the students of New Lexington School and is passionate about developing the whole person.
