Showcase - AI in FinTech
Motivation and Plan - The more information you provide, the more likely people will see your work
The reason why this idea comes into our mind is that: during the preparation of tutorials, AACL-2020 (https://sites.google.com/nlg.csie.ntu.edu.tw/nlpfintech) and EMNLP-2021 (https://sites.google.com/nlg.csie.ntu.edu.tw/financial-opinion-mining/home) , we found that we need to read through the title and the abstract of all accepted papers in different forums (ACL, EMNLP, AAAI, WSDM, WWW, SIGIR, and so on) for sorting out the related papers. Thus, we want to provide a way to collect the research related to AI in FinTech. We believe that this process is more convenient for all researchers and could save their time. The researchers who fill out the form can also advertise their work. In our opinion, this is a win-win-win idea. We will summarize and provide a brief talk based on the papers in this showcase every year in FinNLP, FinWeb, or other venues. In this way, participants can get an overview of recent AI in FinTech studies. This year, we will provide the talk in FinNLP at EMNLP in December.
