IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT BUS SERVICE FOR 2025-2026
All students who live within our school zone are eligible to ride a bus to school. Updated bus route information is available through NLSchools' My Bus Planner. Families will need to create an account in the Parent Portal of My Bus Planner to access their child's bus information, including the route, assigned stop, and pick-up/drop-off times. To create an account you will need your child's student number; you can find the number on your child's report card.

Student Transportation for September 2025:
The Parent Portal allows access to students transportation information. You will need your child's student number to create an account; you can find the number on your child's report card.
At times, there are surplus seats on bus routes which can be offered to non-bus-eligible students. Assigning courtesy seating is governed by the Courtesy Seating Protocol. This year, available courtesy seats are very limited. If you would like to be considered for a courtesy seat, please complete the application that is found in the link above. Please note: courtesy seat applications will not be processed until all eligible bus riders have been confirmed and the number of remaining seats can be determined, usually by the end of September.

Please review the following with your child/children:

To ensure the safety of your child prior to the pick up and after the drop off by the bus.
To ensure your children are at their bus stop 5 minutes before the scheduled time of the bus arrival.
To ensure your child is appropriately dressed for the weather.
To check forms of media such as radio, television or Internet to obtain information about school closures and bus delays.
To take responsibility in finding another means of transportation for your child if he or she has missed the bus.
To ensure that your child does not carry anything on the bus that would violate the rules of the bus. Such objects include things that can inflict harm to a person, or which do not comply with the standards for school bus carry ons.
