We have allergies in our school. Known allergens in our school this year include: scents, nuts, shellfish and eggs (eggs in baked goods are okay). Please be mindful if you or your child consume peanut butter and/or nut products at home prior to school. It is important that your child is diligent when washing their hands before coming to school.
We are a Scent-Free school.
Students should be dressed for the weather everyday, as they will be outside daily at recess and lunch. Classes may also be out during the day for play or classroom activities.
Students should come to school with a water bottle (labelled with their name).
All students should have an extra set of clothes in school, in case of an accident. Please ensure that your child's name is on each piece of clothing (jacket, hats, gloves, etc.).
Students should have their own cutlery for their snacks and lunch. Our school does not have a cafeteria, so it is important for parents to remember to send in cutlery with their child.
If your child has alternate arrangements for pick-up on a specific date, please contact their teacher and let them know as soon as possible. Calling the school is the preferred method, as teachers often do not have a chance to check their email during the school day.
Adults are not permitted to walk throughout our school or to their child's classroom, as per the Safe and Caring Schools policy. Please check in at the office, where our secretary, Tracey can page for your child to come to the office. Thank you for your cooperation.
