Asking Questions in Google Classroom
By: John SowashYou can ask a question in Google Classroom to students using the "Create Question" feature. The question feature can be used for check-ins, exit tickets, warm ups and more! Watch this video to learn more and check out the detailed instructions below.
Step 1: From the classwork tab, click the Create button. Select Question to post a question to the class.
Step 2: Type the question you would like to ask your students in the Question field.
Step 3: On the right side you have some options. You can:
choose to add the materials to other classes
choose which students have access to the materials
choose the point value of the question
assign a due date
choose or create a topic in order to organize the material
allow students to reply to other student answers and allow students to edit their answers
Step 4: If you would like to attach files, click the Add button. You can add files from Google Drive, a link to a website, upload a file from your computer or attach a YouTube video.
Step 5: When you are ready to post your question, click Ask in the top right corner.
Now, use the steps you have learned to post a question for your students.
