Welcome back all students and parents!
Physics 2204 is the junior level physics for students who have completed science 1206. It is a tough course, and coming out of grade 10, where you typically did nothing and still managed to pull off an 80%, you can expect your mark to drop initially while you adjust to the work load. It's a great course, with awesome topics and a wonderful cognitive load, but that does mean unfortunately that you will need to really do some serious work to maintain your average. All students are required to have the complete workbook for each unit. Homework will be assigned, and students are expected to do 20 minutes a night, 4 nights a week in order to keep up. For extra practice, please join CDLI. It will require you to create an account, but it is free and you will get access to amazing resources!
The pulldown menus will direct you to the units for the course.
If you are a student from anywhere at all, feel free to use whatever you find here. If you are a tutor, feel free to use whatever you find here, but I would ask that you not profit from my hard work.
If you are a teacher and want access to my quizzes and tests and notebook copies of all the notes so that you can edit and create yourself, just drop me an email at davidfurey@nlesd.ca and I'll hook you up. Good luck!
