The Lead Learners Project (LLP) provides a possibility for experienced educators to lead a project in their school to enhance their professional skills, expertise and continue their learning by collaborating with colleagues. Opportunities for ongoing learning are important to support strategic issues and district goals. Any participant(s) who apply for an LLP will identify a learning need and are personally invested in developing a meaningful self-directed learning experience. Educators have full autonomy to choose what they want to learn and how they want to learn within the parameters of the LLP. In completing a LLP, end results should include meeting professional learning journey goals, fostering school-based leadership, and developing new practices to share provincially.
