I am the PASS teacher here at Gander Collegiate. My job is to help every student stay on track to graduate.
Credit Recovery and Rescue: Helping students complete coursework they have previously failed or fallen behind on.
Individualized Support: Creating and implementing personalized learning plans that address each student's specific academic and behavioral needs.
Behavioral and Social-Emotional Support: Working with students to develop positive behaviors, social skills, and emotional regulation, often in collaboration with other school staff and parents.
Building Relationships: Establishing positive and trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and motivation.
Collaboration: Working with classroom teachers, the guidance counselor, and administrators to identify students who would benefit from the program and to ensure a cohesive support system.
