My Grandfathers World War 2 Medals
In this photo, there are my pops war medals that he got while serving in WW11. The first one on the left is the 1939-1945 star, the one to the right if that is the Italy star, the next one to the right is the defence medal and war medal 1939-1945 and the last one on the right is the WW11 British campaign medal. There are also his 2 badges that he wore on his uniform and his medal of honour from after the war. This medal is from the legion made for men who came back from war trying to get back together after the war. The medal is for 2nd vice president of the legion There is also a Newfoundland volunteer service medal. There are 3 pins from the regatta as well. On his badge there is his rank, followed by his name, the date of when he was born and when he passed and finally when he served in WW11. Last there is a picture of him
Les médailles de guerre de mon grand-père de la WW11
Sur cette photo, il y a mes médailles de guerre pop qu'il a obtenues pendant son service pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La première à gauche est l'étoile 1939-1945, celle à droite si c'est l'étoile italienne, la suivante à droite est la médaille de la défense et la médaille de guerre 1939-1945 et la dernière à droite est la Médaille de campagne britannique WW11. Il y a aussi ses 2 badges qu'il portait un son uniforme et sa médaille d'honneur d'après-guerre. Cette médaille est de la légion faite pour les hommes qui sont revenus de la guerre essayant de se ressaisir après la guerre. La médaille est pour le vice-président de la légion Il y a aussi une médaille du service bénévole de Terre-Neuve. Il y a aussi 3 quilles de la régate. Sur son insigne, il y a son grade, suivi de son nom, de la date de sa naissance et de son décès et enfin de la date de son service pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Enfin, il y a une photo de lui
