Can students work on their project at home?
Yes- students may work on/create their entry anywhere.
Can students work in groups?
Yes. Maker Faire Submissions may be entered by individuals/partners or a whole class. Each submission will be entered into the draw for prizes.
I want to be involved, but I don't know what to make
Visit this page for some ideas!! Invent something, make an invention even better, try something you've always wanted to try, learn something new! You can do it! Have a look around this website for ideas, resources, books, funding/borrowing options etc.
I’m having trouble uploading my submission to the form. What can I do?
Double check the submission requirements to ensure your video/submission is the correct format and size. Please ensure sharing permissions are checked so the Maker Faire team can access the files.

I’ve been working on a passion project/making something/an invention already. Can I submit this project?
If you can submit it by the deadline, and can upload a video/blogpost/reflection about your project- then sure!
I'm looking for some tech resources to help with a project. What can I do?
I am a teacher/parent/student looking for books about STEM/Coding/Maker Faire. Where can I look?
There are a few lists here . Many more are available with a quick Google search. The book 'Be a Maker' is read aloud by the author on this page.
