All homeschooling families are required to submit progress reports to their zoned school for review. The school will assess each report, along with the accompanying work samples, to determine whether they are complete or if additional information is needed before approval.
When preparing progress reports, families should keep two key points in mind. First, each report should clearly reflect the learning outcomes (curriculum) for every subject, demonstrating what has been covered. Second, the work samples provided must align with the information included in the report.
Final approval is based on the school’s assessment of the submitted materials. Families are expected to consider and follow any recommendations or requests for additional information to ensure the report meets requirements.
Below, you will find sample reports for Grades K–9 and 10–12 to help guide you in meeting reporting expectations.
