Absenteeism

Any student who is absent from school is required to bring a written note explaining the absence to the homeroom teacher. The note should be presented to the homeroom teacher on the day the student returns to school. The office may also make contact to the home.

Food/Product Allergies

There are children in our school who are allergic to certain foods or products (PEANUTS AND OTHER NUTS, FISH, SHELLFISH AND POTATO CHIPS). Please keep this in mind when packing your child's lunch. Please check ingredients before sending any food item to school. This will help us keep our environment safer for these children.

We also have children/teachers sensitive to scent. Children are not permitted to bring hairsprays and other scented products to school. Please do not wear perfume or other scented products when coming to the school.

Visitors to the Building

If you are taking your child out of school or bringing them in at a later time, you must “sign in or sign out” at the office. Due to building access restrictions, this year we ask that arrangements be made by calling the school office. A school staff member will ensure that your child safely makes it to your vehicle.
