Team Managers can be a coach or an approved parent who is responsible for the ensuring that all aspects of the team's operation run smoothly, allowing the coaches and players to focus on their performance.
Team managers must complete the same requirements as our coaching staff. An application must be made by a team manager who is not a coach. Team Managers have access to information and procedures that requires application and approval by administration due to the nature of the position.
Team Manager Responsibilities
All tasks of a team manager are team specific as required by the coaching staff, but must not go outside of the responsibilities listed below. The team manager must discuss with the Coaches how they can best support the team.
Team Managers (who are not coaching staff) are not to have any input with team decisions, practices, competition play, line ups, etc.

1. Administrative Tasks (ensuring proper use of teamsnap):
Scheduling and updating practices, and games.
Notifying teams of any changes to schedules.
Registration of teams for tournaments
Collecting money using the rycor request form, and competing the cheque request form for payment.
Picking up cheques and ensuring payments are processed to vendors
Ensuring payments are processed by athletes.
Managing team budgets and expenses.
Requesting and keeping track of player contracts and player data.
Team Travel Planning and Arrangements
2. Team Logistics:
Organizing transportation to and from games and events if required.
Checking attendance of players for events
3. Communication:
Providing updates and information to players and coaches.
Communicating with the Athletic Director for any required information.
Using required forms for any requests to athletics department.
4. Other:
Fundraising
Hosting tournaments
Volunteering
*any other roles that support the operations of a team in consultation with the coaching staff and/or athletic director.
